About
I experienced what I call my "pre-mid-life crisis" at the age of 18, where I encountered a deep sense of depression and anxiety; a feeling that has since ebbed and flowed throughout my life.
These times for me have always been marked by loneliness and frustration.
These times also left me with lots of questions about the nature of suffering and over the years serving in the helping profession, I found I was met by these same questions from the people I was serving.
After serving in Christian ministry for 6 years and seeing so many suffering with mental health, Emily and I sensed an invitation to meet this need.
Early on in my counseling career, I became frustrated with classic counseling approaches as I felt like they only gave half of the picture to the human soul.
This led me to where we are today!
Our souls are beautifully complex and it takes more than just a "method" or "technique" for healing to ensue.
That's why I aim to honor your soul through caring for you holisitically.
Body, Mind, Spirit.
This is the only way I've found healing.
On top of this, I have found this approach, in synergy with spirituality, provides the most optimistic framework for the soul to heal.
During our time together we will explore where you've been, where you're at, where you are going, and listening for what needs to be mended.
Aside from counseling, I love my family, coffee, running, and a good book!
I'm just a normal guy who really likes being with people!
